Unbelievable how quickly time passes! Finally here is a painting I've had on my easel for ages – a portrait of a very dear friend from my childhood.

Mary took care of me when I was a toddler and was an important part of my family's life in the 60s. This painting was based on an old photograph that her daughter had posted on facebook. Portraits are obviously not my forte but it sure was fun to work on!
