Okay, I took the very bright last version of this big painting to La Petite Gallerie last week and it was really bugging me – just too bright and kind of gaudy looking. So luckily one of my most favorite artists, Doug Corkern, stopped by and gave me some great advice – if its bothering you keep working on it! So I brought it home and added in the actual background colors (it was a scene in my backyard) and I am so much happier with it!
